I wrote a new song!
The lyrics start out "If I could fall in love again, I'd probably lock myself away. Because at least the could, lifeless tower, would always keep me safe."

  1. The question is...safe from what? Safe from those who have hurt you? Or safe from loving again?

Those cold, lifeless, towers aren't all they're cracked up to be - though they can be comforting for awhile. ;-)

Almost everyone I know thinks love has to be reciprocal - that if someone spurns your love one has to stop loving that person. I find that one's heart reserves a space for everyone - even those that have moved on or shown emotional immaturity in how they ended a relationship.

Love is all about your love for others - not about who loves one in return. After this awakening one sees past loves and relationships in a whole new light and one can let go of the hurts. And one has to let go of the hurts - because they accumulate and give birth to bitterness.

Take care Sami...and if you do lock yourself up in the cold, lifeless tower - remember you have *friends* nearby who will always lend an ear...and plenty of unasked for advice!
